United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a PACU RN - Perioperative Services to plan, direct, organize, and implement nursing care for pre-op patients, ensuring safety and quality in line with standards and regulations.

The role spans pediatric to geriatric patients in a high-acuity setting. The RN will follow hospital policies, manage pain, administer medications, and document care while utilizing MediTech for patient registration and discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• 3+ years experience as an RN.
• Texas RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care within RN scope and hospital policies.
• Assesses psychosocial, educational and physical needs across age groups.
• Responds to emergencies promptly.
• Develops and prioritizes plan of care to achieve measurable goals.
• Identifies educational needs and documents education for patient/family.
• Manages acute and chronic pain postoperatively.
• Delivers medications based on continual assessment and safety.
• Performs triage and follows follow-up procedures.
• Follows all documentation policies.
• Uses MediTech system for registering, orders, and discharges.
