The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures requiring sedation or anesthesia, using advanced knowledge of physiology related to anesthesia techniques and surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by accrediting agency.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing license in the United States.
• English proficiency for direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across peri-anesthesia continuum: pre-anesthesia, Phase I/II, and extended recovery.
