Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Elmhurst, IL for per diem coverage. Shift is 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential earlier start times as needed.

Weekend on-call every 5–6 weeks and 12-hour holiday/weekend shifts are included. The RN will render professional nursing care, assess conditions, document observations, delegate tasks, and work as part of a patient-focused care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN must be obtained within 5 years from start date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR (BLS) certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date; PALS within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and patient monitoring.
• Assess patient condition, plan and evaluate care, document observations.
• Delegate care tasks to other staff as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the team to meet unit goals.
