Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - PACU in Elmhurst, IL. Per diem position with hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, with potential to come in earlier as needed.
Weekend call every 5-6 weeks and holiday rotation are required. Pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 hourly, with a new minimum of $37.25 base hourly pay beginning with the second paycheck in October. Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
Responsibilities
- Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Uses critical thinking to assess patients, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and document observations.
- Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and works as part of a team to meet unit goals.
- Duties may vary by unit or shift.
