Job summary

Lancaster Specialty Surgery Center is seeking a Part Time PACU RN to join our team in Ohio. The RN PACU provides perioperative care, following the nursing process and organizational policies in a patient-family centered environment.

Qualified candidates hold an Ohio nursing license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and prior ambulatory surgical experience is preferred. We offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits as part of USPI.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio Nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Ambulatory surgical setting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Aseptic technique knowledge and implementation.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
• Excellent teaching, communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change.

Job Summary:

The RN PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

Required Skills:

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• CurrentOhioNursing state License

• Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
