Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite, NV is seeking a Registered Nurse - PACU for a full-time role. The PACU Nurse will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality care, and coordinate patient care through collaboration and appropriate delegation.

We require an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Nevada RN licensure, BLS, PALS and ACLS. Two years PACU experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Associates Degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Two years PACU nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Nevada.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS required.
• Certifications through AHA or ARC must be held.

• Monitor physiologic status, document findings and patient responses.

• Shift: Full-Time
• Hours: 3 / 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
• On-Call shifts required

Job Summary:

• The PACU Staff Nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care.
• As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation.
• The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s).
• Monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response.
• Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Associates Degree required. BSN preferred.
• Two (2) years of previous PACU Nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada.
• Current BLS required.
• PALS, ACLS required.
• All Certifications must be held through AHA or ARC.
