Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide individualized, high-quality care in a Mercy Medical Center setting. You will work within a team to coordinate patient care across admission, transfer, and discharge and will rotate shifts including days, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Applicants must hold a current Iowa RN license, be BLS certified within 6 weeks, complete mandated reporter training within 3 months, and demonstrate proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current or compact state license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa.
• Basic Life Support certified within six (6) weeks of hire. The acceptable credentialing body is the American Heart Association.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three (3) months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and speak English language.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides individualized, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages. Uses a team approach to delegate and coordinate patient care at admission, transfer, and discharge. Independently delivers nursing care using the Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Medical Center policies, nursing standards, ethical principles, and professional judgment. Works rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Job duties may vary by shift or may be unit-specific.
