Job summary

Mount Carmel Grove City is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-op/Post-op/PACU department. The role involves caring for inpatients and outpatients across surgery, endoscopy, IR, myelograms, and MRIs.

collaborating with anesthesia teams and delivering nursing care per the Nursing Process within organizational standards. This is a full-time rotating-shift position with a focus on teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from school of nursing is required.
• Current license to practice as an RN in Ohio is required.
• Casual RNs must have 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives; maintains professionalism.
• Assesses and plans care for an assigned patient group with family involvement.
• Communicates pertinent information to the team in a timely manner; keeps patient and family informed.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately per policy.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
