Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse for part-time day and night shifts. The role involves delivering patient care within the Nursing Process framework and collaborating in a team-focused environment.

The nurse will assess, educate, document, and administer medications under provider direction, while maintaining high standards and compliance with organization policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• 18 months of recent/relevant clinical experience within their specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence-based practice; Assist provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments; Perform basic medical procedures under supervision.
• Administer medications under the direction of the provider, according to organization standards.
• Assist in emergency situations under the direction of the provider.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and diagnoses.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes according to standards.
• Assume responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
