Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the PACU in Lexington, NC. The role focuses on patient-centered perioperative care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate outcomes within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, collaborating with the care team, ensuring safety, and maintaining comprehensive EHR documentation. Minimum requirements include RN licensure and BLS; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges to practice in the posting state.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan per department policies.
