Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care, monitor recovery, and coordinate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient stability. The role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours.

You will oversee and direct care for post-surgical patients, work with diverse age groups, and may rotate to other service areas as competency allows.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience; PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-surgical/post-procedural patient care.
• Monitor neurological and cardiac status; manage airway support.
• Respond promptly to complications or side effects; ensure patient stability during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams and may have on-call availability.
