Job summary

SCA Health in Greensboro, NC is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU to provide high-quality perianesthesia care across the episode of care.

Responsibilities include assessing patient status, developing individualized care plans, delivering concise hand-off reports, and performing other duties as assigned. Required nursing credentialing, BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS where applicable; PACU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of PACU experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standings.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation.
• PALS certification required when pediatric care is within scope.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the episode of care
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care by implementing
• Provide hand-off report to other teammates that are accurate, concise and pertinent to the patient’s condition and response to care.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
