Job summary

Endeavor Health in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care on a dedicated unit. You will use the nursing process to plan and evaluate care, involving patients and families as appropriate.

Expect responsibilities inclduing collaboration with physicians and the health team, regulatory compliance, and guiding unlicensed staff. Opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• License/Certification: IL RN License CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience: 6 mths RN experience in comparable role - Preferred
• Basic Computer Skills

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
