Job summary

Endeavor Health's Highland Park Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU, working part-time day shifts with occasional call. The role requires nursing licensure in Illinois and CPR/BLS certification, with a preference for candidates with a BSN and at least 6 months of RN experience.

The successful candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing professional growth within a Magnet-recognized network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• IL RN License required.
• CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association required.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience in a comparable role preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective nursing care for all patient populations on the unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate plans of care with patient/family involvement.
• Maintains regulatory compliance in practice and leads unlicensed staff in care delivery.
• Communicates with nurses, physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.

Education
