Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a part-time, per diem PACU nurse for 1st shift. You will assess and coordinate patient care, administer therapies, and educate patients and families on care needs. Requires 2+ years PACU experience and NJ RN license; ACLS/PALS/BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of PACU experience is required.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification preferred.
• Must hold a valid NJ RN license and present it as required.
• Knowledge of hospital practices and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team and family.
• Educate patients and families on disease process and care needs.
• Maintain competencies and participate in performance improvement.
