Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for the PACU, caring for adult and pediatric patients with varying complexities, including ICU-level scenarios.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. An RN license is required with 2–3 years of PACU/ICU/ED experience preferred.

• Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years in PACU/ICU/ED preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
