Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Main Campus Recovery Room/PACU. The role focuses on caring for pediatric through adult patients in the immediate post-operative period, with responsibilities spanning airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, sedation oversight, and pain control.

You will work with OR/ED/inpatient teams, anesthesia staff, surgeons, and allied departments. The position requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS with ACLS/PALS in some cases, and 1 year of RN experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• BSN (preferred)
• Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association (preferred)
