Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a PRN registered nurse to render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients in an on-site Dallas, TX setting. The role uses the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while supporting the system's mission and strategic goals.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS, Texas RN license or eligibility, and at least 12 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain.
• RN work experience: 12 months minimum.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment via communication and teamwork.
• Manages nursing components of patient/family education and care.
• Communicates with team, patients and families and ensures understanding of information.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
