Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care, manage airway support, monitor neuro and cardiac status, and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.

This role includes on-call duties, opportunities for professional growth, and on-site leadership support to ensure safe patient care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• BLS/Basic Life Support certification required.
• RN licensure and nursing degree required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered post-operative care in PACU.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status; respond to complications.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
