Job summary

Stanford Health Care - Tri-Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care within the California Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, coordinating with other providers, and educating patients and families.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years PACU experience and 1–2 years Critical Care, current CA RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Two years of recent acute hospital PACU experience (required).
• One-two years of Critical Care experience (required).
• Current CA RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Relevant departmental certification as required (e.g., PALS, NRP, ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with other providers.
• Teach patients and families to manage care and prevent complications.
• Document assessments, plans, and interventions in clinical records.
• Maintain safety and adhere to hospital policies and CI-CARE standards.
• Attend departmental meetings and participate in committees as assigned.
