Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, following the California Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies. You will assess patients, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinating with other providers and teaching patients and families.

The role requires 1+ year of acute care RN experience, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1+ year to 2 years prior acute care Registered Nurse experience required.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• California Nursing Practice Act knowledge and hospital policy literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients by collecting and documenting data through interviewing, history taking and physical assessment.
• Obtains accurate assessment data and interprets normal vs abnormal findings.
• Determines nursing diagnoses and monitors data according to patient stability.
• Documents and safely executes the care plan per nursing standards.
• Evaluates interventions and monitors for adverse responses.
