Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate RN for the Pre-Op/PACU unit on a part-time basis in Post Falls, Idaho. You will provide nursing care in both pre-op and recovery with a typical patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1, ensuring safe delivery of care and timely discharges.

Requirements include Idaho RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS within six months, and preferred BSN. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in documentation, and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• PACU, critical care, or emergency room experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Idaho required.
• BSN preferred plus active certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide professional nursing care in the PACU/Pre-Op Unit.
• Cover pre-op and recovery duties as assigned.
• Utilize nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
