Job summary

Fertility Centers of New England (FCNE) is seeking a full-time PACU/OR RN at our Reading, MA location. You will provide nursing care for reproductive procedures and post-anesthesia recovery, from day one, in a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds MA RN license, nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS certification, with strong communication and patient-centered care. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with rotating weekends. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing Egg Retrieval, Embryo Transfer, and IUI procedures.
• Deliver post-anesthesia recovery care in the PACU, monitoring through admission, recovery, and discharge.
• Oversee patient admission, monitoring, and discharge per clinical protocols.
• Act as a liaison between patients, families, and care providers with clear, compassionate communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold medical records per policy and compliance standards.

The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time PACU/OR RN to join our clinical team at our Reading, MA location. In this role, you will provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing reproductive procedures and post-anesthesia recovery. What You'll Do

You'll be hands-on from day one, providing direct nursing support across the following areas:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing Egg Retrieval, Embryo Transfer, and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) procedures
• Deliver post-anesthesia recovery care in the PACU, monitoring patients through admission, recovery, and discharge
• Oversee patient admission, monitoring, and discharge in accordance with clinical protocols
• Act as a liaison between patients, families, and care providers, ensuring clear communication and compassionate support
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold medical records per policy and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• BLS and/or ACLS certification required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Preferred: prior experience in women's health, fertility, or PACU (not required)

Schedule

This is a full-time, day-shift position based at our Reading, MA location. The standard schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with rotating coverage every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM); scheduled weekday days off are provided during weeks that include weekend shifts.
