Fertility Centers of New England (FCNE) is seeking a Medical Assistant/OR Technician (Floating Position) to join our clinical team in Reading, MA, with duties across Braintree, Leominster, Westborough, and Boston. The role supports physicians during visits and procedures, maintains sterile technique, and ensures accurate records.

The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to work with a collaborative fertility care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or OR Technician program, or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification; prior work in a medical office, procedural, surgical, OB/GYN, or fertility setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to work independently and in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during office visits and OR/PACU procedures, maintaining sterile technique and preparing rooms.
• Chaperone patient examinations and keep EMR, charts, labs, imaging, and consents accurate.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize clinical equipment, and keep supplies stocked and inventory current.
• Provide floating coverage at Braintree, Leominster, Westborough, and Boston offices.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and sonographers.

Typical shifts run 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., depending on patient volume and operational needs. Regular travel to our Braintree, Leominster, Westborough, and Boston offices is required, and OR/PACU responsibilities are performed at the Reading location.
