Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital, part of the HCA Healthcare network, seeks a Nurse Manager of the PACU to lead patient care in the PACU/Pre-Op Holding Area and Pre-Admission Testing. You will oversee staffing, coordinate with anesthesia and ancillary departments, and ensure safe, high-quality perioperative services in a busy Riverside setting.

Requires California RN license, Basic Arrhythmia, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and 3+ years in PACU/critical care with at least 1 year in management.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license required.
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia course required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• CCRN or CPAN preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• AA Degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in PACU or Critical Care.
• Minimum one-year management experience in a PACU or Critical Care.
• Excellent computer skills and teaching/coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in PACU/Pre-Op areas with safe staffing and proper delegation.
• Interface with ancillary departments daily to identify and resolve patient issues.
• Accountable to the Department of Anesthesia and report to the Director of Perioperative Services.
