Job summary

Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas seeks a PACU Recovery Nurse Manager to lead the PACU, Day Surgery, and Pre-Admission Testing units under the Director of Surgical Services. This role drives care quality, staff performance, and workflow efficiency in a high-volume facility.

The incumbent will implement policies, ensure compliance, and mentor a skilled nursing team. Nevada nursing license, BSN, and leadership experience are required; master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing, BSN required.
• Masters degree in Nursing or related health field preferred.
• Current Nevada license to practice nursing required.
• Current acute clinical knowledge required.
• Minimum of 1 year leadership/ management experience required.
• Recent Peri-Operative services experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the PACU, Day Surgery, and Pre-Admission Testing under the Director of Surgical Services.
• Assist in development and interpretation of department policies, procedures, and safety programs; consult with physicians and staff as needed.
