Job summary

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center seeks a PACU Recovery Nurse Manager to lead the PACU, Day Surgery, and Pre-Admission Testing operations. You will drive policies, safety programs, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care in a busy perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Nevada RN license required.
• Masters degree in nursing or related field preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, as the PACU manager you will assume management responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the PACU, Day Surgery, and Pre-Admission Testing
• You will assist in development, interpretation, and implement department policies & procedures, implement department safety programs, consult with physicians and other professional staff as needed and demonstrate knowledge & skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients served by the department

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing, BSN required
• Masters’ Degree in Nursing or related health field preferred
• Current Nevada license to practice nursing required
• Current acute clinical knowledge required
• Minimum of 1 year leadership/ management experience required
• Recent Peri-Operative services experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS required
