Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the PACU at the Women and Families Campus to oversee clinical and administrative activities on the nursing unit. This full-time role centers on staff leadership and patient care excellence.

Under the Nurse Manager, you will plan, direct, organize and evaluate nursing operations, ensure staffing patterns meet patient needs, supervise and mentor staff, and drive educational initiatives for the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• PA RN license is required; BLS certification is required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates nursing unit activities.
• Assists in staffing and ensures optimal delivery of nursing services.
• Supervises, guides, and counsels nursing staff; evaluates performance.
• Assists in meeting educational needs of staff and leads clinical oversight.
• In Nurse Manager's absence, assumes responsibility for staff and patient care.
