White Plains Hospital Medical Center seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead the PACU department, ensuring quality patient care, staff development, and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with physicians and the nursing team to maintain optimal operations and patient outcomes.

The ANM will manage budgets, schedule staff, supervise daily activities, and participate in performance improvement and education initiatives to uphold the hospital’s standards.

Qualifications

• BSN required; 1–3 years minimum acute care experience; 2+ years management/leadership experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse New York license; BLS and ACLS required on hire.
• Demonstrates leadership, budgeting awareness and ability to mentor staff.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assures delivery of quality nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees department operations, staffing budgets, and FTE management.
• Develops department goals aligned with hospital mission and Magnet initiatives.
• Ensures staff orientation, competency, education, and compliance with policies.
• Participates in Performance Improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts.
• Acts as a role model, coach, and resource for staff and peers.
