Job summary

Temple Health seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for the PACU at Women and Families Campus. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, this full-time role plans, directs, and evaluates clinical and administrative activities on the unit, and provides staff oversight in the absence of the manager.

Founded on nursing excellence, the candidate must be a BSN, with PA RN license and BLS; MS degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program is required.
• PA RN license and BLS certification are required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with clinical leadership preferred.
• MSN or related field is preferred, or combination of relevant education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate clinical and administrative activities of the PACU unit.
• Recommend and implement staffing patterns to provide optimal nursing care.
• Supervise, evaluate, guide and counsel staff when Nurse Manager is absent.
• Assist in staff education and professional development efforts.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory, hospital policies, and leadership principles.
