Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care. You will manage airway support, monitor neuro and cardiac status, and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient stability and safety.

You will participate in on-call coverage during select non-business hours and contribute to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN license required for practice in TN.
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within specified timelines.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in nursing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
• Be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team with providers, therapy, and more.
• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor, and document changes throughout the shift.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
