Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN, is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to lead immediate post-operative care, support airway management, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications.

You will collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams, participate in on-call rotations, educate patients and families, and contribute to evidence-based practice in a high-volume Stroke Center environment.

Qualifications

• RN with licensure and critical care exposure; demonstrated ability to manage airway and monitor neurological status.
• CPR/BLS within 30 days of start date; PALS to be obtained within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in post-operative setting.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
• Consistently apply nursing process, critical thinking and leadership in care delivery.
• Assess patient condition, monitor and document changes during shift.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up.
