Job summary

West Tennessee Healthcare in Paris, Tennessee, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care using the nursing process on the assigned unit. You will collaborate with the care team to promote continuity of care during your shift.

You will coordinate bedside care, supervise staff, document in patient records, and communicate with physicians to ensure safe treatment and effective discharge planning, including teaching and family support.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree in nursing required.
• Current RN licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification within orientation period; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial patient assessment and plans care using nursing process.
• Coordinates bedside care, supervises procedures, and prioritizes orders.
• Administers medications, IV fluids, and blood products as required.
• Documents care and communicates with physicians and care teams.
• Leads unit and assists with discharge planning and education.
