Job summary

West Tennessee Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to deliver quality patient care on an assigned unit during the day shift. You will lead nursing staff, coordinate care, and ensure accurate documentation and safety.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, teamwork with physicians and other departments, and discharge planning, with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing certification maintenance.

Qualifications

• Completion of diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree in nursing.
• Evidence of continuing education and licensure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessment using the nursing process for age-specific needs.
• Administer, supervise, or delegate medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Coordinate bedside care and supervise nursing staff on assigned shift.
• Discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
