Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Main PACU, Nights. This role provides clinical leadership for a designated shift, supports the nurse manager, and helps develop an environment of excellence in patient care, staff development, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
• 2 Years experience required.
• Clinical certification in the patient population served or nurse leader certification.
• Ability to apply nursing process toward achievement of outcomes in an organized fashion.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization, critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills.
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
• Physical stamina, manual dexterity, visual and aural acuity to perform responsibilities.

Responsibilities
