NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Main PACU, Nights. This role provides clinical leadership for a designated shift, supports the nurse manager in staff development, and drives excellence in patient care within a collaborative interprofessional team.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, performance evaluation, and promoting evidence-based practice while maintaining a culture of safety and inclusion across the unit.

Competenze

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in New York State.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical leadership or management experience.

Mansioni

• Provide clinical leadership and management for designated shifts in Main PACU.
• Support nurse manager with staff selection, onboarding, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care delivery, scheduling, payroll, and interprofessional collaboration.
• Ensure staffing and skill mix to optimize patient outcomes and safety.
• Lead unit initiatives, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
