Job summary

The unit provides 24/7 coverage with on-call requirements, serving a wide range of surgical areas.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License is required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• ICU experience is preferred; ED/step-down/floor-level considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care in PACU.
• Initiate IVs, administer medications, educate patients, document appropriately.
• Manage postoperative recovery and align with ASPAN guidelines.
• Care for diverse surgical services with 24/7 coverage and on-call duties.
