Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a PACS Administrator to manage the Picture Archiving and Communication System across the facility, ensuring accessibility and data integrity for imaging records.

You will liaise with IT, radiologists, and vendors to optimize performance and user satisfaction. Role requires 1–2 years of related experience, ARRRT and BCLS certifications, and a strong grasp of medical imaging data management and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in radiologic technology, information systems analysis, or database management.
• ARRT certification required.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Radiologic technologist license preferred; networking or database management certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across clinical, IT, and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day PACS operations, including system maintenance, user access, troubleshooting, and data reconciliation.
• Works with radiologists, IT and vendors to address updates, stability, and maintenance tasks.
• Provides user training and ongoing support for PACS-related applications.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, data security and healthcare regulations.
• Monitors system performance and escalates hardware or software issues to vendors.
• Administers system access by creating, modifying, and deactivating user accounts.
• Facilitates data storage, organization, and retrieval with data integrity and timely access.
