Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach is seeking a PACS Administrator to manage the PACS environment and related post-processing tools. You will ensure system operation, interface health, backups, and archival processes while coordinating with IS, Radiology, and vendor teams.

The role requires a strong background in image archives, PACS, and clinical workflow, with a focus on reliability, testing, and project coordination. A CIIP/PARCA certification is preferred and on-site work is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Technology recommended.
• Minimum 4 years image archive and/or PACS experience.
• Solid understanding of clinical workflow within one or more clinical service lines and how it relates to Medical Imaging and PACS.
• Excellent attention to detail, project management skills, and applications training skills.
• Experience with Hologic, Montage, TeraRecon, and Nuance PowerScribe360 preferred.
• CIIP or PARCA certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees operation of PACS system and verifies scheduled operations, backups, archives, etc.
• Monitors interfaces and develops downtime processes to keep systems in sync.
• Coordinates changes to keep IS and PACS interfaces functional at all times.
• Manages hardware, software, performance, storage, and recovery aspects of the PACS environment.
• Performs problem isolation and escalation within Radiology and Information Systems.
• Provides maintenance, upgrades, and testing coordination for the system.
• Administers system access, sign-ons, and user permissions.
• Collaborates with Network and Operations teams on infrastructure.
• Coordinates PACS device moves and vendor interactions to ensure network impact is addressed.
