Job summary

Sectra seeks a Technical Engineer to implement and maintain PACS and Enterprise Imaging solutions for hospitals and health systems. You will deploy, test, and support from implementation through go-live and upgrades, collaborating with customers and team members.

The role emphasizes hands‑on deployment, troubleshooting, data migration support, and knowledge sharing. Travel up to 25% and occasional after-hours work are expected to ensure patient care systems remain reliable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience deploying, administering, or supporting complex enterprise software in healthcare IT or medical imaging.
• Strong understanding of PACS, DICOM, and imaging infrastructure/workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, test, upgrade, and maintain Sectra’s PACS and Enterprise Imaging solutions, including servers, databases and supporting infrastructure.
• Provide ongoing technical support for customer environments, troubleshooting issues affecting performance and workflows.
• Investigate complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
