Job summary

Sectra is seeking a Technical Engineer to help hospitals implement and maintain PACS and Enterprise Imaging solutions. You will deploy, configure, and upgrade systems, while providing ongoing technical support and collaborating with customer IT teams to ensure reliable, efficient patient care.

You will work on data migrations, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing, with opportunities to grow across deployment, support, and project delivery in a dynamic healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent technical experience.
• 5–10 years of experience deploying, administering, or supporting complex enterprise software systems, ideally in healthcare IT or medical imaging.
• Strong understanding of PACS, DICOM, and healthcare imaging environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, test, upgrade, and maintain Sectra’s PACS and Enterprise Imaging solutions, including servers, databases, and infrastructure.
• Provide ongoing technical support for customer environments, troubleshooting issues affecting performance and workflows.
• Investigate complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot connections with modalities and third‑party systems (EMRs, dictation, AI platforms).
• Collaborate with project managers, application specialists, and customer IT teams to support implementations and resolve issues.
• Support data migration and validation during implementations, upgrades, and system transitions.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions; share knowledge and best practices.
• Deliver technical training to customers and colleagues as needed.
