Job summary

Sectra is seeking an Integration Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support healthcare interfaces between Sectra's Enterprise Imaging platform and diverse third‑party systems, including EHRs and PACS. You will work with HL7, DICOM, FHIR, and REST APIs, leading customer engagements and translating clinical workflows into scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, engineering teams, and project managers, with a focus on data integrity, interoperability

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, engineering or equivalent experience.
5–10 years designing, developing, implementing, and supporting system integrations.
Experience with HL7 and/or DICOM.
Experience with Mirth Connect, XML, JSON, REST APIs or similar.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and support healthcare interfaces between Sectra solutions and third-party clinical systems.
Build and maintain HL7, DICOM, FHIR, XML, JSON, REST API integrations using Mirth Connect and related tools.
Lead integration workstreams from requirements through deployment and production support.
Meet with customers to understand workflows and translate needs into scalable integration solutions.
Configure, test, validate, and troubleshoot interfaces for reliable, secure data exchange.
