Job summary

Randolph Health is seeking a PACS Administrator to support and optimize the Radiology and Cardiology PACS across a multi-hospital system. You will troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and coordinate with IT, clinical and facility teams to ensure proper PACS functioning.

The role requires 2–4 years in healthcare PACS/RIS or imaging support, with knowledge of HL7 interfaces and familiarity with Change Healthcare PACS and Powerscribe One preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, IT, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare PACS/RIS or imaging/integration support.
• Experience with HL7 interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of Radiology and Cardiology PACS systems.
• Experience with Change Healthcare PACS and Powerscribe One (preferred).
• Experience with ServiceNow, Meditech and Smartsheet (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize operations, system maintenance and quality control of the PACS in Radiology and Cardiology.
• Collaborate with clinical, financial and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements.
• Provide ongoing support for enterprise PACS across multiple facilities.

Job description

The PACS Administrator is responsible for supporting and optimizing the operations, system maintenance and quality control activities of the medical imaging Radiology and Cardiology Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) as well as supporting other imaging related applications such as Powerscribe One, across a multi-hospital healthcare system. This role ensures that imaging processes, workflows, and technologies are aligned to drive operational efficiency, compliance, and financial performance. The PACS Admin will collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement system enhancements, and provide ongoing support for the enterprise Radiology and Cardiology PACS. Additionally, the PACS Admin will also work directly with the multiple facilities counterparts to support and ensure the proper functioning of the PACS system.

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 2-4 years of experience in healthcare PACS/RIS or other imaging and integration support experience. Experience with system integrations and HL7 interfaces. Strong knowledge of both Radiology and Cardiology PACS systems. Experience with Change Healthcare PACS and Powerscribe One (preferred). Experience with ServiceNow, Meditech and Smartsheet (preferred).
