Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Packout Operator to support the packout line with responsibilities spanning setup, operation, sanitation, and line documentation.

You will ensure product quality and appearance while maintaining efficient line performance in a manufacturing environment. The role requires basic reading and computer proficiency, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on sanitation-driven tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Proficient in use of the computer
• Must have solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills
• Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
• Compliance with food safety policies and GMPs/SOPs
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, climb stairs and ladders, walk and stand
• Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product
• Assist with machine operation including cleaning and teardown of packout line and 704 washer
• Set up, adjust, monitor and perform general operating maintenance on lines
• Document and record when work is completed
• Document line operations and collect line samples on all equipment during production
• Perform pre-op inspections and titrate lines during sanitation
• Perform all sanitation per requirements
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling
• Inspect trays for breakage and remove from line as needed
