Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is hiring for a packaging associate to support manufacturing operations. You will prepare product for rework, label and package items, move boxes and stack pallets according to customer specs, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Safety and quality procedures must be followed at all times. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work weekends/holidays, basic math, and comfort with fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Basic math knowledge required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to operate packaging equipment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned duties, which may include preparing product for rework
• Packaging and labeling product
• Manually moving boxes
• Stacking pallets according to customer specifications
• General housekeeping
• Safely operating packaging or conveying equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures without deviation and report any out of specification conditions
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all safety, security, quality and food safety policies and procedures are followed
