Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Packout Manager for our Oak Creek, WI facility. This role leads daily Packout operations, ensuring finished products are labeled, packaged, and delivered with top quality and safety standards.

You will optimize workflow and maintain regulatory compliance while supporting a high-performing team. The position offers a $70,000–$80,000 salary with a yearly bonus opportunity, and requires managing warehouse processes in a refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education/experience considered.
• 2–4 years warehouse management experience preferred.
• Stand and walk for extended periods in a refrigerated environment (34°F–40°F).
• Inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Excellent customer service skills and experience.
• Knowledge of packing and shipping procedures.
• Experience with P&L accountability is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Packout operations, ensuring products are packed and labeled correctly and shipped on time.
• Verify all items are prepared in proper quantity for delivery.
• Monitor staff daily records and payroll submissions.
• Train, supervise, and develop Packout staff.
• Coordinate with Production, Transportation, and Customer Service teams.
• Complete weekly inventory and monitor shortages or overages.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Track performance metrics and drive process improvements.
