Job summary

Compass Group USA resh & Ready Foods in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a full-time role. You will perform routine quality and food safety inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products, and ensure GMP/HACCP compliance.

The position offers $20.00 per hour, Monday–Friday, hours may vary, and requires prior QA experience in a food manufacturing setting. You will support audits, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement in product quality

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in engineering or business field with 5 years maintenance experience.
• HS Diploma or GED with 10 years maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, comprehend and transmit instructions in writing and orally.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word; basic database knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality and food safety inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Monitor production for GMP, HACCP, SSOPs and company policies.
• Conduct product evaluations: weight, temperature, pH, moisture, foreign material, sensory checks.
• Collect and submit samples for microbiological testing.
• Verify allergen controls, label accuracy, ingredient usage, and lot code traceability.
• Complete quality records and electronic documentation accurately.
• Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective actions.
