Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. is a family-owned manufacturer offering premium fresh prepared foods, with a third shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM and weekend work possible based on needs.

The role is full-time with a pay range of $15.00–$15.38 per hour and shift differential of $3.00 on third shift. Responsibilities include handling, labeling and packaging of finished products, adhering to GMPs, SOPs and all Food Safety policies, and reporting issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Must adhere to all Food Safety policies and allergen control programs.

The pay range for this opportunity is $15.00-15.38/hour.

This position is third shift 10PM-630AM M-F with an additional shift differential of $3.00 an hour for third shift.

Please be advised that weekend work may be required based on operational needs. This is a full-time employment opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Handling, labeling and packaging of finished product

Responsibilities for Food Safety

• Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable.
• Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food Safety policies.
• Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
• Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals.
• If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).

Positional accountabilities

• 100% adherence to all company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures); no deviations.
• Ability through training and appropriate time in the position; to run, adjust, breakdown and reassemble appropriate job specific processing/packaging equipment.

• Update Lead or Supervisor on any hindrances to successfully performing your position.
• Immediately notify your supervisor of any recognized issues/failures while performing your position.
