Blount Fine Foods, a family-owned food manufacturer, is hiring for a full-time second shift position (2PM-10:30PM, Mon-Fri with possible weekends). The role involves handling, labeling and packaging of finished products and ensuring GMP and Food Safety compliance.

A shift premium of $1 may apply for the second shift. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and education assistance.

• If monitoring CCPs, be trained in HACCP and HACCP plans.

The pay range for this opportunity is $15.00-15.38/hour.

THIS POSITION IS SECOND SHIFT 2PM-1030PM M-F plus a shift differential of $1.00 for 2nd shift. Please note that weekends may be required based on business needs.

This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities For Food Safety

• Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable.
• Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food Safety policies.
• Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
• Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals.
• If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).

Positional Accountabilities

• 100% adherence to all company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures); no deviations.
• Ability through training and appropriate time in the position; to run, adjust, breakdown and reassemble appropriate job specific processing/packaging equipment.
• Update Lead or Supervisor on any hindrances to successfully performing your position.
• Immediately notify your supervisor of any recognized issues/failures while performing your position.
