Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. in McKinney, TX seeks a full-time packaging associate for the third shift (10 PM–6:30 AM, M-F) to handle, label and package finished products. You will follow GMPs/SOPs and Food Safety policies, with occasional weekend requirements based on business needs.

The wage ranges from $15.00 to $15.38 per hour, plus a $3 shift differential. Benefits include medical, dental and vision; 401k with company match; paid time off; education assistance; life insurance and short-term

• If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).

The shift differential rate is $3.00 per shift.

Responsibilities for Food Safety

• Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable.
• Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food Safety policies.
• Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
• Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals.
• If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).

Positional accountabilities

• 100% adherence to all company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures); no deviations.
• Ability through training and appropriate time in the position; to run, adjust, breakdown and reassemble appropriate job specific processing/packaging equipment.
• Update Lead or Supervisor on any hindrances to successfully performing your position.
• Immediately notify your supervisor of any recognized issues/failures while performing your position.
